For many years, Homewood Suites in downtown Salt Lake has been supporting Utah Foster Care’s Chalk Art Festival. With artists and our own staff traveling from out of town, we looked for a hotel that is within walking distance of The Gateway … and we hit the jackpot!

Through a generous donation, the hotel has provided complimentary rooms to our chalk artists and our Foster Dads of the Year, who came from all regions of Utah. For many of these families, it is sometimes the only chance they have to stay at a nice hotel and get treated royally! What a great treat for these deserving foster parents and children.

In addition, the hotel offers special rates for our staff, who are also driving from Vernal, Moab, Price, Richfield and St. George.

Homewood Suites is not just convenient to the Chalk Art Festival. It is an extremely comfortable choice, offering rooms where you can really put your feet up after an exhausting day of painting the streets! We were glad to find out that it offers a hearty breakfast for all its guests.
